Ankara Mayor Melih Gökçek has continued his accusations against opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, saying that the CHP leader’s “honest” image is not true and that he can prove it. The most recent polemic started after Gökçek argued that Kılıçdaroğlu should not criticize Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for having a villa in İstanbul’s Üsküdar district because the new CHP leader has a villa, too.
